5/6 Grade Girls Round Robin Invite
China is hosting a 5/6 girls Round Robin on March 2, 2013
at China
Middle School. Game times are to be determined once all sign-ups
are
received by February 18, 2013.
The entry fee is $50.00 per team. Each team will play a minimum
of
two games. We plan to have as many games officiated with certified
officials as allowed by paid entry fees. Due to the costs associated
with
hiring officials there will be no awards for participation.
There will be refreshments and snacks sold during the games.
Game Rules
1) Game will consist of 2-20 minute periods with running time.
2) Clock stops for foul shots and during the last two minutes
of each half.
3) If regular time ends in a tie there will be a 3 minute overtime period.
4) Each team will receive two 30-second timeouts and two 60-
second timeouts per game.
5) Three point shot is in effect.
6) Teams may play man-to-man or zone.
7) Full court press is allowed in the second half of the game.
Any
team that is ahead by 15 or more points cannot press.
8) Players will foul out after 5 fouls. There will be no bonus
shots.
9) SPORTSMANSHIP is a must from all players, coaches, and fans.
